Eish!!!!!! Mangaung Mayor faced 3 motions of no confidence

Bloemfontein: The Executive Mayor of the embattled Mangaung Metro Municipality, Mxolisi Siyonzana, is expected to face three motions of no confidence in today’s council meeting brought forward by the Afrikan Alliance of Social Democrats (AASD), Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and Democratic Alliance (DA).

According to AASD. “It is imperative for every politician in this country, most especially the ones in Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality council, not to become numb; the people that they serve have faces, families, hopes, dreams, and stories. There are fellow residents (citizens) and by virtue of that alone they are worthy of their sacrifice, commitment and service.”

“A vote of no confidence on Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality, Executive Mayor Mxolisi Siyonzana is a step aimed at ensuring Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality realizes its potential, through holding those in Executive accountable to Mangaung Metro residents.”

The party added that they are grateful to every resident of Mangaung who voted and that is why they do not take the support, trust and faith in them for granted.

“We are also committed in fixing the mess in our city through working with all parties in Council and our communities”
