Bloemfontein: For the very first time the Free State province will have it’s own TV channel named the One Free State Televisual (1FSTV) which is now available on channel 120 on Star Sat satellite.
The television channel was launched on Monday the 14th of March 2022 at Bon Hotel in Bloemfontein. The channel is said to provide job opportunities for free staters and help the youth of the province to showcase it’s talent.
News, youth, talent, entertainment, exciting dramas and movie programs are to be expected from the channel this evident after the channel having hosted auditions for a Gospel show (Dipeselama) on the 22nd of February in their offices in Bloemfontein.
Speaking at launch, Founder and CEO of the Channel Mr Paul Phetise said he decided to launch the channel, after he realised the talent Free State Province has.
“It was not easy to launch the channel but against all odds we made it possible,seeing the channel becoming a huge success is an exciting and proud moment” said Phetise
Phetise he was born and bred in the Botshabelo, Free State province.
Presenters of the Channel, did not hide their excitement too, speaking to The Insider, one of the presenters Neo Phothane said this is the moment they have been waiting for.
“We are ecstatic, this is only the beginning, we are glad that finally Free State talent gets to have their own platform to showcase and own their content, we are thankful to Ntate Paul, because if it was not because of him, this could not have happened” added Neo Phothane who is a Presenter at 1FSTV she went further to say how the channel is about encompassing the Free State province as a whole as well it’s people.
The channel went live on Monday the 14th of March at 16h00 on Star Sat platform, channel 120.
