Magashule going nowhere – Sanco

Bloemfontein: South African National Civic Organization (Sanco), says ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule shouldn’t step aside, this is after NEC on Monday announced that it has gave all members, who have been charged with corruption or other serious crimes 30 days to step aside, failing which they should be suspended.

“We are calling on the SG of the ANC not to step aside and continue fighting for the return of the land, nationalization of the reserve bank, the implementation of radical economic transformation and free education. We will go street by street talking to our people. We call upon all Sanco branches in the Province of  Free State to convene meetings and advance the course.” Said Poli

According to Poli, motive behind resolutions including step aside, that were taken in 2017 Nasrec conference, was to restore integrity of ANC, as the only hope of the people.

However he says currently some of the nasrec resolutions, are being used to settle political scores and cause divisions within the party.

“Following the recent past developments within the ANC we can conclusively say that this noble resolution is now used to settle political scores and further fuel devisions with the ANC pursuant to the advancement of white monopoly capital and the agenda of counter revolutionaries forces.”

According to Poli, Implementation of the step aside resolution, in its current form is designed and concocted to deal with the ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule.

“Sanco fs has resolved to use the 30 days period that NEC allocated, to meet all motive forces in the province and explain the step aside and how it is used to settle political scores and how is going to adversely affect the entire congress movement.

We are going to talk to our members who are also leading the ANC that through their platforms to demand the NGC or Special Conference in other to further process the resolution.
