Notorious Crusaders SA Bikers cause horrific accident at N8 and destroys evidence

Bloemfontein: The High Accident N8 road between Bloemfontein and Botshabelo had to be closed for 3 hours on Friday afternoon, following the multiple bikes accident that cost  life of biker and two more admitted in for serious injuries.

It is alleged by witnesses that the bikers crew from Crusaders Bikers South Africa who had convoy heading towards eastern free state collided with the department of agriculture’s van that was from educational exhibitions.

“These people (Crusaders Bikers SA) were drunk I’ve been following them from as far as Branford where they had been driving so bad with their convoy,” said a man with the name “Daddy”

The traumatized officials who cannot be named to protect their identity explained their ordeal after the collision: “All of the bikers attacked us and those of other drivers who had witnessed their bad driving.”

She added that one of bikers threatened them with a gun while trying to destroy the evidence by throwing the departmental equipment by ransacking it.

“They threatened us with Guns, destroyed the evidence to hide as to why and how the accident happened. They also destroyed the equipment which we use and accused us of driving bad while they are the one who looked drunk.”

It is also alleged that the crew had taken over the scene leaving the authorities out of it.

“The Police were called but they did nothing when they arrived because they could not act even after they were told that the bikers have tempered with the evidence,” said another witness.

The N8 road claims lot of accident on a weekly basis, the economic road linking rural Thaba Nchu & Botshabelo with Bloemfontein is also considered one of the  dangerous roads in the province.

At the time of publishing this story, attempts to get the comment from the Police failed.

  • This is very strange. I have seen a video of the Crusaders following each other in perfect arranged convay on social media. No biker was out of line or riding recklessly at any stage.
